Sean Croon’s background includes ten years in career development, 12 years in business leadership and 14 years in recruitment. Key achievements include founding and selling four businesses (including a leading CV writing agency), winning multiple national awards as an IT recruiter, and 5 years on the state committee for the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA).
Catherine Lightfoot
Career Advisor & Strategist | PhD careers Specialist | Career Educator
One of Australia’s only academic/HDR/PhD specialist career development practitioners with 9 years as a career practitioner in the higher education sector working at National Careers Institute, University of WA, Edith Cowen Uni and Uni of Notre Dame. Spent four years as the Manager of PhD and Post Graduate careers at UWA, collaborating closely with the Graduate Research School.

Having worked with over 1,400 students across Australia, Catherine has achieved remarkable success, including ~80% of students coached by Catherine progressing to the interview stage for prestigious scholarships including NCP, Westpac Fulbright, and Rhodes.

Ben’s background includes 20+ years in technology and telecommunications, with 10+ years in corporate management roles employing over 100 staff including graduates, training over 20 professional CV writers, and three years facilitating workshops and 1:1 career coaching for graduates and HDR students in a range of disciplines including government, engineering, research, technology, law, and healthcare.

Rachel Trevarthen is an educator and career development practitioner. She has worked with over 2000 students over the past 10 years across high school, TAFE, undergraduate and postgraduate programs, to develop their academic skills and navigate life and career transitions.

Rachel's background includes five years as a university educator teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate education programs, 10 years in TESOL and TAFE, specialising in high school and tertiary bridging programs, and two years self employed in diverse events management roles.
She has taught on over 10 different tertiary programs, 2 specialist bridging programs (Bridging English and Preparing for Success) and completed her Masters in Education (Career Development) in 2023. She is a state committee member for the Career Development Association of Australia, Australia’s largest mixed career practitioner association.
